Redundant prepuce refers to full coverage of the glans by the foreskin in absence of an erection. For some males, though the foreskin does not enclose the entire glans, its excessive folds at the bottom of the glans often cause inflammation and infection, and may need to be treated with surgical removal of excessive foreskin.
